Microbial Fluorescence Imaging Measurement Device BACTESTER
Measures general bacterial count in 5 minutes. A rapid measurement device usable in HACCP environments.
NPC is developing a microbial fluorescence imaging measurement device called "Bactester." The Bactester is a device that enables all businesses involved in food to measure and manage the total bacterial count in-house as part of HACCP management. Its principle involves using cell staining reagents for live and dead bacteria to visualize only the bacteria, automatically counting them in just five minutes (displayed on a connected computer screen). Unlike indirect measurements such as ATP measurement, it allows for accurate microbial management based on bacterial counts that are not affected by residues or other proteins.
